Outstanding Employee--ME

I was surprised with this at Morning Report one day a few weeks ago. Clayton tricked me saying he wanted me to join the managers and dept. heads at report to see how it went. Well, he changed the subject quickly and presented me with this award, saying some very nice things about me and how well I do my job. Family Council is made up of resident's family members who attend a meeting monthly discussing any number of things regarding the care of their loved ones. It made for a very nice day!!!

My Boyfriend!

So I had a Boyfriend for Valentines day. he was the perfect guy. Quiet, Dark haired, and he gave me a gift.

He was too quiet and didn't do anything so I decided to drown him.

this week in news...lol

so it's taken me a little longer than expected to get the pics on the computer. here are a few from my trip to see Leslie. My camera has some interesting features on it and I took both of these on it. I think they are adorable.

it was nice getting away from work for a few days. I really needed it. and I could use another vacation again. I had a lot of fun.

haha heres a funny story... on my way home I had to re rout my gps cause there was a ton of traffic just before I hit kingston. I decided to get off at the kingston exit. I got stuck in the roundabout. So my gps tells me to take the 3rd exit off of the roundabout and go through kingston. So when I get on it, I count 3 exits. the 3rd one brought me right back to the interstate. I paniced cause I had already gotten off the exit. I kept on thinking, htere better not be anyone behind me. I looked to make sure that there weren't any cops around, and I made an illegal U turn. so I got back on and went around again and missed it the 2nd time. so I ended up going around a 3rd time and finally was able to get off after I figured out it was actually 2 exits. that was interesting. lol.

This week

Sorry no pics. I haven't had a cahnce to upload anything from my camera recently cause I need to charge my batteries.

So I spent pretty much all week catching up with my friend John. He's been in the military(Coast Guard) for the past year and a half stationed in Kodiak, AK and recently returned home for good. I don't think a day has passed that I didn't spend time hanging out with him. It's been nice to see him after only seeing him once in the past year.

Tuesday night I went to go see my friend Terry and his brother Ken perform at Michaels Sports Cafe. They are pretty good. Turnout was a little disappointing, being as they in invited nearly 100 people and maybe 10-15 showed up. It was fun. My friend Elle called me wondering if I was going cause she didn't want to be there alone. We had such a fun time together. I haven't seen her in a few weeks. Just a little fill in... Elle is Kens girlfriend. I met Terry and Ken a few months before I met Elle, except I met Elle through Charlie and later found out she knew Terry and Ken. She became Ken's girlfriend with a little prompting from Charlie and I. What a small world.

YAY I actually get to use my GPS properly tomorrow. Heading up to see Leslie, Chris, and they Kids. I'll take pics and post them next week. It's a well needed vacation away from work. I don't think I've had any proper getaway tim in a while. The christmas trip to grandmas wan't enough.

And here's Grammie!! This was taken in Alaska when we went to see Leslie and Chris. Avery was just a few months old. That's tells you how old this picture is. This is Portage Glacier. See how blue the ice looks? It is a beautiful spot.

If you want a copy of my official prom pics let me know, I still have ALL of them. and my Junior Prom ones too. I believe I have ALL of those. Maybe not, I think I gave 1 or 2 out. OK so my entries might be a little sarcastic, but hey, that's me. (Side bar... Grammie is making me laugh hysterically cause she keeps pointing out everything I spell wrong and all my punctuation mistakes.) Over and Out.
