I have my own "Wild Hog"! He's wearing his Milwaukee skull cap and biker glasses. He spent the afternoon wearing these while working on his "Bike". Oops, I mean the Bronco. Unfortunately, he's also taken to calling me "Babe". I'm not so keen on that. I think he has the new O.C. Chopper showroom on his mind. They had their grand opening this week over on 17k by Barnes and Noble and Loews. I'm sure he'll try to make it in this week to check it out. What do you think kids?

Fairy's
At Avery's brithday weekend, we mad fairy's. when we got home, we couldn't think of a good spot to put our fairy's. I think we had them in 3 places before I decided that the plant would be the perfect spot for them. after all they are fairy's and the should be where fairy's should be.... in nature. It was only natural to put them there as their final home. if only I could get them to stay put on a stalk up high, but they keep on falling down. oh well. I think they look good where they are.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
So today was mom and dad's 38th anniversary. I decided that I would make them dessert.
I must be the slowest baker in the world. it said prep time 40 min, and it took me an hour and a half to prepare it all. The recipe is half of a Paula Deen recipe. What do I mean by half you say??? well I only followed the instructions for the filling. I decided against making the dough from scratch and I bought it. If I made the dough, the pie would probably still be in the oven.

Success!!
Finally....I bought a purse! I've only been looking since early fall to replace the one I used last Spring and Summer. I've been in so many stores over the months checking and rechecking. It all starts with the opening...if I didn't like the way it opened it went back on the shelf. I was determined tonight. It may not be exactly what I've been looking for but I like it and it will work for me. It's a Nine West purse and the colors are sage and clay. That's what the tag said anyway. The price was right too since I bought it at Burlington Coat Factory!

LOST---Does anyone know where he is?
Kevin seems to be lost. We found this picture to add here to keep him fresh(but young) in our memory. We figured it would be better than the one with the balloon strategically placed...if you know what I mean :0) Maybe I'll dig around and find some of the pictures from throughout the years of Kevin and post them. Is that ok with you Kevin?

making up for lost time
so since mom never seems to update things here I figured I'd update everyone.
Well I've been almost constantly sick since the last week in February. That has been FUN(not!) I never get sick and this time I'm sick for a month. it's that stupid cold that has been going around that no one can seem to get rid of. Just like Leslie's family, I believe I came down with the stomach bug since we all seemed to have contracted it at the same time. I became sick Sunday night and spent most of Monday sleeping. I believe I slept all but 4 hours on Monday.
Mom has Asthmatic Bronchitis. she finally went to the doctors to see what was going on and that was the diagnosis
So as you all know I was in a car accident at the beginning of March. I would have blogged about it earlier but I was trying not to think about it. It's finally sorta gone to the back of my brain and I don't think about it as often. I still can't remember too much of what happened in between the car loosing control and getting out of the car. It all seemed to have gone in slow motion for me. I don't remember saying anything as the car was flipping but Elle says I kept saying"Oh My God!" over and over. I do, however, remember the car flipping and my body hitting the roof of the car. but it seemed like it was in slow motion.
anyways no more of the depressing stuff... for Easter I was all dressed up girlie. I don't have any pictures, but Leslie does, so Leslie when you read this, e-mail me the pics so I can post them. that's probably the one and only time you will see me with out some element of black in my wardrobe. I could care less if you all think I need to put more color in it. that's just not me.
Leslie, Chris and the kids stopped by wed. after the went to west point. it was nice to see them again. especially 2 times in a week. then we saw them at Gram's for Joey's benefit. which went really well. I helped out with the kitchen making sure we were constantly stocked with food on the tables. and keeping the coffee filled. it seemed like almost as soon as I would bring out a pot, that it was gone.
well thats all I can think of. sorry for no pics. I'm at work and don't have access to pics.
