Happy May Day

Does anyone do this anymore? I remember making the little cone baskets, filling them with flowers from the yard, placing them on a neighbor's door, ringing the doorbell and running away so they wouldn't know who left them. Maybe some of you reading this will open your door today and be surprised! If not, this one is for you!!

I'd do it, if I knew any of my neighbors. Happy may day!

What a beautiful idea! My wife says that her grandfather used to do that on May Day for her :) I love the cone shape.

I have never seen anything like this before! But, it is very beautiful! I would be quite frightened if something like that appeared on my door where i live lol, but this is a lovely treat :)

Yes! I remember leaving flowers on someones door step and ringing the bell, then running away. I still enjoy giving/receiving flowers on May Day :)

That's a beautiful May basket. My son actually made one in school this year. It's still hanging on my closet door knob. He drew hearts and Godzilla on it! LOL!

I've never done this, but I'm tempted now. I'd love a secret gift of flowers on my door - especially after our long MI winters!
