While I was playing with Olivia the other day, I came up with this little rhyme and decided to make it Grammie's motto. So, here it is....drumroll please!
Grammie's my name and loving(insert your name)is my game!!
So----Kevin, Quincy, Grant, Julia, Bea, Avery, Mitchell and Olivia----you all are very much loved!!! I think of you everyday, and wish you all lived close to Grampie and I.
I was just blog hopping tonight and came across a video on Our Creative Life's blog. I was very surprised to see Luke Buckett, son of one of my good friends, playing on the video. The song is touching and I'm so glad Luke had a part in it!
Does anyone do this anymore? I remember making the little cone baskets, filling them with flowers from the yard, placing them on a neighbor's door, ringing the doorbell and running away so they wouldn't know who left them. Maybe some of you reading this will open your door today and be surprised! If not, this one is for you!!
Most every morning before leaving for work, I get to see this precious face. It gives me joy!! I think she's sleeping in today because as I write this I don't hear her squealing...wait a minute....she's awake!! Oh goody, I'm going to go scamp her up for a few minutes before I head out the door. Now, if you will excuse me I must be going. I need an Olivia kiss.
These pictures are of one of the beautiful trees in the nearby church yard. I'm not much of a photographer but I do like the way these turned out. 
Beth, Olivia and I walked over to Main Street for the 3rd annual Beacon Barksparade. We sought out the shady side of the street and watched as hundreds of dogs paraded by...all sizes, from the teensiest new baby pugs to some super sized English mastiffs. Some came dressed up too.
